Columbus bowler Clint Million established a new city record for series scores, rolling a three-game total of 878, including two consecutive 300 games.

1989

The Bartholomew Consolidated School Board adopted a requirement that all students must pass courses in world geography or world history to earn a high school diploma. Previously students only had to take the courses.

1964

Snowdrifts up to four feet deep blocked roads in Bartholomew County and closed all schools.
