NORTH VERNON — The Freedom Hunt Banquet will be at 5 p.m. Feb. 28 at St. Mary’s Parish Center, North Vernon.
Freedom Hunt is a nonprofit organization providing special needs children with the opportunity to hunt. Volunteers and members assist participants in hunter education and provide a fun outdoor hunting and camping experience.
The banquet will have a silent auction and games at 5 p.m. followed by dinner at 6 p.m. The silent auction will close at 7 p.m. with the live auction beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Silent auction items include hunting gear and knives. Live auction items include guns, hunting and fishing equipment, home decor and a crossbow.
There will be a kids turkey calling contest.
Dinner tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for children age 4 to 12. Children younger than age 3 are admitted free.
