Miami businessman Randy Garciga purchased Tanger Outlet Center at Seymour for $2.1 million.

The Indiana Department of Transportation announced plans to replace a severely deteriorating bridge built in 1910 over Clifty Creek just north of Hartsville.

The Distinguished Flying Cross, the country’s third-highest honor for heroism against an enemy, was awarded to Capt. Charles T. Ostick, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey F. Ostick of Columbus.
