Zach Sanders, Columbus East junior basketball player

Sanders scored a career-high 24 points Friday to lead the Olympians to a 79-65 win at Madison. He went 9-of-13 from the field, including 5-of-6 from 3-point range, and 1-of-2 from the free-throw line.

“I felt pretty good about it, hitting all those 3’s. My teammates were getting me the ball, so I just have to knock them down.”
