‘Snow White’ coming to First Fridays in April

Columbus’ Dancers Studio, under the direction of Alma Wiley, will finish Old National Bank’s First Fridays for Families’ season with a free production of “The Dwarves Tale of Snow White” at 6 p.m. April 10 at The Commons, 300 Washington St. in Columbus.

One of the most famous fairy tales worldwide, The Brothers Grimm published it in 1812 in the first edition of the collection, “Grimms’ Fairy Tales.”

This show will be on the second Friday to avoid conflict with local Good Friday gatherings, according to organizers. The nonprofit troupe also will present the production and other works at a general, ticketed, public show April 18 and 19 at Columbus’ Judson Erne Auditorium, 1400 25th St.

First Fridays for Families is a long-running Columbus Area Arts Council program geared toward children in prekindergarten through third grade. Each program is unique and offers a way to introduce the arts to a young audience.
