What seems like junk to you can help Faith Lutheran Church’s women feel they are treasured by God.
That’s part of the idea behind the Women of Faith Annual Rummage Sale April 18 in the fellowship hall of the church, 6000 W. State Road 46.
In fact, organizers extend a simple invitation: If you come across something in your spring cleaning that you have no use for but others might find of value, consider donating it to the cause. Or rent your own booth space for $20 to support the event and sell your items yourself.
The Faith Lutheran Preschool Trash to Treasure Spring Fundraiser will be held the same day, also at the church. The events will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Booth rental proceeds will benefit Faith’s academic enrichment programs and scholarship fund.
