2005

Nearly 160 teams hit the lanes for Bowl for Kids Sake, a Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bartholomew County fundraiser, and raised more than $17,000 in the first hour.

1990

Shocked employees of Big Blue searched for anything salvageable in the charred remains of the store as firefighters continued dousing the rubble. Damage was estimated at $2.5 million to $3 million.

1965

Preliminary plans for expansion of Donner Center to the north and east were presented to the Columbus Park Board. Plans called for the addition of a community assembly building and an athletic facility and renovation of the present building for “passive” recreation.
