Mable Irene Mount, 93, of Greensburg, died Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at Aspen Place Assisted Living in Greensburg.

Mrs. Mount was a farmer and homemaker, a graduate of Waldron High School and a lifelong member of Union Chapel United Methodist Church.

She was a lifelong resident of Shelby and Decatur counties and loved to travel and spend time with her family.

Funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Union Chapel United Methodist Church with Pastor Dawn Barnes officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Glenn E. George Funeral Home in St. Paul. Burial will be at Union Chapel Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to Union Chapel United Methodist Church.

Born in Shelby County Oct. 17, 1921, Mrs. Mount was the daughter of Ligonal and Ethel Parks Davis. She married George W. Mount Sept. 18, 1941. He preceded her in death in 2012.

Survivors include three daughters, Marilyn Alexander of New Orleans, Jane (William B.) Kennedy of Columbus and Kathleen (Michael E. ) Harrison of Indianapolis; five siblings, Helen Wasson of Greensburg, John (Gladys) Davis of Greensburg, Norma Massman of Portland, Oregon, Ethel Soroko of Indianapolis and Ligonal (Denie) Davis Jr. of Shelbyville; six grandchildren, Patrick Alexander of Austin, Texas, Thomas Alexander of New Orleans, David Best of Unionville, Tracey Range of Indianapolis, Kelly Swensson of Indianapolis and Kate Harrison of Indianapolis; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two brothers, Harold and Wilbur Davis.
