‘Boot camp’ offered for farmers market operators

A free “boot camp” in Indianapolis will help farmers market operators to manage their business and better understand safety and health regulations.

The Farmers Market Boot Camp will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 10 at the Indiana Farm Bureau Assembly Hall A and B, 2225 S. East St., Indianapolis. It is offered by Purdue University and the Indiana Farm Bureau.

Topics include use of social media, health regulations and marketing rules.
