Edith M. Huddleston, 71, of Union Street, died Monday, March 30, 2015, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Born February 13, 1944, in Glasgow, Kentucky, she was the daughter of James and Goldie Mae Farrell Alexander. She married Harry Edward Huddleston April 6, 1960.
Edith loved being with her grandsons and great-grandson. She enjoyed gardening, especially her roses.
The funeral will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 2, 2015, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. Calling will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday April 1, 2015, and one hour prior to the services Thursday.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Edith M. Huddleston Memorial Fund.
Survivors include her husband, Harry Edward Huddleston of Columbus; a son, Edward Jewell Huddleston Sr. of Columbus; grandchildren, Edward Jewell Huddleston Jr., Corey Allen Huddleston and Bryce Matthew Huddleston; a great-grandchild, Brayden Michael Haddix; a sister, Linda Coffenberry of Crawfordsville; and brothers, James Alexander of Crawfordsville, Dave Alexander of Indianapolis and Howard Alexander of Waynetown, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Goldie Mae Farrell Alexander; a daughter, Tina L. Huddleston; and sons, Marshall, Jimmy and Timmy Huddleston.
