Born February 16, 1931, Carl Ray Dillman went to be with the Lord on March 30, 2015. He was 84 years old.
Carl was the son of Walter and Erma Dillman of Ellettsville, Indiana.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Sue Mullis of Scotland Indiana; his sons, Brent Dillman of Scotland, Indiana, and Cary Dillman and his wife Brenda of Bloomington, Indiana; his daughter, Vera Dillman of Bloomington, Indiana; brothers, Donald Dillman and his wife Pat of Columbus, Indiana, and Glen Dillman and his wife Dorothy of Ellettsville, Indiana; a sister-in-law, Vivian Dillman of Ellettsville, Indiana; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Erma, and two brothers, Benny and Joe Dillman.
Carl worked for 37 years delivering milk for Johnson’s Dairy and co-founded Dillman Farm Inc. with his wife, Sue.
He had many accomplishments and achievements in his lifetime that will be remembered by those who knew and loved him. However, the one accomplishment that will last is the trust and faith he put in his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to give him an eternal home and body at his passing from this life to his new one.
Funeral service for Carl was held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Allen Funeral Home and Crematory, 4155 South Old Highway 37. Burial was at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
