Top toppers: The Caring Parents Program provides the Period of Purple Crying education to family members of infants born at Columbus Regional Hospital. The education is a prevention program for Shaken Baby Syndrome/Abusive Head Trauma. Along with this education, program organizers provide purple knitted or crocheted baby hats for each family to take home with them. The program currently needs about 250 more of the hats.
