Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1987 in Columbus is hosting a military ball May 30 to benefit a college scholarship fund.
Cocktails start at 5:30 p.m. and the dinner is at 7 at the post at 215 N. National Road. Formal attire is required. The event will feature a silent auction, a disc jockey providing music and a meal catered by Soups by Design and Blackerby’s Hangar 5 restaurant.
The cost is $30 for an individual or $50 for a couple and includes dinner, dancing and pictures.
