1) The Great Outdoors is calling. You can enjoy it while allowing the breeze of the past to blow a bit of heritage right your way when the Bartholomew County Historical Society and the Hauser Junior High School eighth-graders join forces from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. today and Friday at the Henry Breeding Farm, 13730 N. County Road 100W near Edinburgh. Organizers will dig a figurative pitchfork into 200 years of history with historic crafts, 19th-century games, butter churning, hand tools, blacksmithing, steam engines and other activities. 2) The Lasting Impressions local senior theater troupe has been serving a filling recipe of tasty meals and sweet tunes for several years. As a sharp salute to those who have served our nation, they will present “A Tribute to Our Troops: USO Musical Revue” at 6 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday at Columbus’ Mill Race Center, 900 Lindsey St. Sadie’s Catering will provide a buffet.
