ACTing on creativity

Children often are known for elements of emotional drama when facing life’s hurdles. A new local summer program can help them embrace arts-related drama as a way to enhance their confidence and creativity. That’s part of the idea behind the ACT (Active and Creative Thinking) Children’s Program. It’s an eight-week workshop for youth entering grades four through six and grades seven and eight. Sessions will be Mondays from June 8 to July 27 at Columbus’ YES Cinema. Information: 812-379-1630 or visit lcnfc.org.
