Through June 14, Walmart and Sam’s Club are asking customers to support patients at Riley Hospital for Children by donating $1 or more at the retailers’ 143 locations, including those in Columbus.
Customers and members may add a Miracle Balloon donation while in the checkout lane, with 100 percent of the donations going directly to Riley.
In 2014, the campaign raised more than $40 million nationwide, with additional activities bringing the total to $53 million, for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, including Riley.
In Columbus, the Walmart at 735 Whitfield Drive was the seventh top fundraising location for Riley, raising $21,097.
