Donald R. Dillman, 80, of Columbus, died at 4:20 a.m. Sunday, May 31, 2015, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Donald was born July 26, 1934, in Bloomington, the son of Walter and Erma Jane Sparks Dillman. He married Patricia J. Myers August 11, 1956.
Donald was owner and operator of Dillman Heating and Air and was a former employee of Public Service Indiana (Duke Energy). He was a member of 25th Street Church of Christ and had served his country in the U.S. Navy.
The funeral will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Mike Davis and Brace Rutledge officiating. Calling will be at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. today and one hour prior to the service Wednesday. Burial will be at Flat Rock Baptist Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to Florida College.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia; son, Dan (Jennifer) Dillman of Columbus; daughter, Diane (Jim) Ragsdale of Indianapolis; brother, Glen (Dorothy) Dillman of Ellettsville; grandchildren, Brett (Emily) Ragsdale, Kyle (Kelsie) Ragsdale, Eric Ragsdale, Tate Dillman and Blake Dillman; and great-grandchildren, Reagan Ragsdale, Kade Ragsdale, Reid Ragsdale and Kynslie Ragsdale.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Benny, Joe and Carl Dillman.
