More than 150 state officials, former employees and former residents gathered to say goodbye and officially close Muscatatuck State Developmental Center, which opened in 1921 as the Indiana Farm Colony for Feeble Minded Youth.

First of America Bank Corp. of Kalamazoo, Michigan, bought Trustcorp Bank in Columbus.

1965

Members of Grace Lutheran Church on Central Avenue broke ground for a $306,000 expansion that included a new sanctuary and education unit.
