The family of Delbert Wayne Sexton Sr., 58, of Fall Branch, Tennessee, would like to sadly announce the passing of his life on Saturday, June 13, 2015.
Mr. Sexton was born in Columbus on May 14, 1957. He was the son of Paul James Sexton and Dorothy Gibson Sexton.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 18, 2015, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with James Myers and the Rev. Mark Myers officiating. Calling will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Delbert Wayne Sexton Sr. Memorial Fund.
Survivors include four children, Melissa (Todd) Sexton Drake of Hope, Chassity (James) Sexton Myers of Columbus, Delbert Wayne (Bandy) Sexton Jr. of Kentucky and Skylar (Chasiti) Sexton of Columbus. Also surviving are nine grandchildren; a sister, Stella Ward of Fall Branch, Tennessee; and a brother, Randy Sexton of Columbus.
Delbert was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Dorothy Sexton; brothers, Freddy Darrell Sexton and Ronny Sexton; and sisters, Joyce Sexton Winget and Terri Jo Sexton Davis.
