Selena C. Coram, 36, of Fairview Drive, died at 1:43 a.m. Sunday, July 26, 2015, due to injuries from an accident.
Selena was born March 31, 1979, in New York, New York, the daughter of Otilio Arbelo and Myriam Ortiz. She married Kenneth Coram August 24, 2003.
Selena had a passion for animal rescue, loved to dance and was a great cook. Her life revolved around her family, which she loved so much.
The funeral will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2015, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Susan Vannice officiating. Calling will be from 4:00 p.m. until service time Friday.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bartholomew County Humane Society through the funeral home.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth; her father, Otilio (Angela) Arbelo of New York, New York; her mother, Myriam Ortiz of Columbus; sons, Dai′von Coram, Marquis Coram, Daiquis Coram and Xavier Coram, all of Columbus; sisters, Tailyn (Willie Funches Jr.) Funches of Jacksonville, Arkansas, Barbara Best of Columbus, and Kimberly (Albert Robateau) Bayron of Los Angeles, California; and one grandson on the way.
