Ivy Tech Community College Chancellor Chris R. Lowery has been reappointed to chair the Region 9 Indiana Works Council.
Lowery will serve a two-year term through July 2017.
The Region 9 Works Council serves Bartholomew, Decatur, Franklin, Jackson, Jennings, Ripley, Dearborn, Jefferson, Ohio and Switzerland counties.
The councils were created to bring educators and employers together to evaluate and develop career and technical education that meets the demands of employers in each region.
