Indiana Department of Transportation officials advise motorists to be alert for striping crews and related lane closures along Interstate 65 between Seymour and Scottsburg during overnight hours next week.
Permanent pavement markings will be placed on I-65 northbound and southbound lanes between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. beginning Sunday night through Thursday night.
Lane closings will change as the work continues along the interstate.
John R. Jurgensen Co. is the state’s contractor for the $54.7 million INDOT Seymour District pavement project which has renovated 21 lane miles of pavement and rehabilitated 20 bridges along I-65 between U.S. 50 in Jackson County and State Road 56 in Scott County.
