Shari K. Luurtsema, 65, of Hartsville, died at 9:34 a.m. Tuesday, August 11, 2015, at St. Vincent Seton Hospital in Indianapolis.
Shari was born May 4, 1950, in Jackson, Ohio, the daughter of Robert L. and Virginia B. Bullington Broyles. She married Charlie S. “Chuck” Luurtsema July 25, 1985.
Shari retired as lead customer service representative at the Edinburgh Premium Outlet Mall. She was a member of Kappa Kappa Sigma Sorority and Tarum Court 14 LOSNA where she was also a member of the Drum Corps.
The funeral will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 15, 2015, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Dan Rasmussen officiating. Calling will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of service Saturday.
Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children through the funeral home.
Survivors include her daughter, Tiffanie J. (Keith) Ellis of Greenwood; a sister, Linda (Rick) Wood of Brownsburg; grandchildren, Connor and Logan Ellis of Greenwood; a niece, Jennifer Riddle of Russellville, Indiana; and a nephew, John Wood of Brownsburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Chuck Luurtsema.
