Parks department hires project/resource development coordinator

The former director of Family School Partners has been hired by the Columbus Parks and Recreation Department to help with fundraising efforts.

Stacy Findley was named as project/resource development coordinator with the parks department and will start Thursday. She will be responsible for developing community partnerships and be involved with department campaigns for capital projects as an internal team member, said Mark Jones, parks and recreation director.

Findley also will be responsible for grant writing for the department and the Columbus Park Foundation. She replaces April Williams, who left the position in September.
