After walking 172 days and 2,100 miles across America, raising $250,000 to fight juvenile diabetes, Bill Holden of Columbus took Dr. Darryl Tannenbaum up on his offer to surgically repair his bad knees.


Businesses in Clifty Crossing Shopping Center at 10th Street and National Road collected 2,000 signatures from shoppers supporting their proposal to add the strip mall to the city’s bus route system.


A house and two lots at 1102 Washington St. were purchased by the city for $43,000 to accommodate the westward extension of 11th Street.
