With more than a decade in comedy, Columbus native Jeff Bodart brings more confidence to the stage than ever. He won the first round of a Comedy Central standup competition last year, and has logged plenty of time behind the mic on the syndicated radio and TV show, “Bob and Tom.” He and fellow comic Danny Browning will entertain at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 28 at Columbus’ Harlequin Theatre in FairOaks Mall, 2380 25th St. Tickets are $15 in advance at the mall and $20 at the door. Information: 812-343-4597 or harlequintheatre.com.

Sometimes the heralded architecture that decorates Columbus becomes invisible those of us who see it every day. Part of the beauty of Chaotic Tuesdays that began earlier this year surrounding Swiss sculptor Jean Tinguely’s “Chaos I” is that the free events have reminded many of the two-ton piece’s continued charm. Children have proven be among the biggest fans. The next Chaotic Tuesday is 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at The Commons, 300 Washington St. in Columbus.
