Columbus
Kenai Elijah Shipley-Smith, infant son of Morgan Shipley and Will Smith of Columbus, died at 4:50 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2015, shortly after birth at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Survivors include his parents; grandparents, Jason Shipley, Brandy Brown, Trina Jones, and Robert Smith, all of Columbus; great-grandparents, Sherri and John Cottrill, Vicky and Roger Leonard, and Carol Jones, all of Columbus; great-great-grandparents, Dale and Dorothy Banta and Annie and Ray Jessie, all of Columbus; an uncle, Alec Shipley of Columbus; and aunts, Heather and Brittany Smith of Columbus.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Jerry K. Day Sr. officiating. There will be no calling.
