Judy Diann Ritchison, 66, of Scipio, passed away at 6:30 a.m. Saturday, August 22, 2015, at her residence. She was the daughter of John W. and Marie (Hughes) Sipes, born on July 25, 1949 in Scott County, Indiana. She was raised in Union Town, former Westport resident and has resided in Scipio since 2000. Mrs. Ritchison graduated from Crothersville High School in 1967. She retired from Boyer Machine and Tool in 2004 after 20 years of service. She enjoyed gardening, reading and her grandchildren. She married Lynn D. Ritchison on April 14, 2000 in Gatlinburg, Tennessee and he survives.
Other survivors include her daughters, Carrie Ann Ritchison of Westport and Hope Groves of Columbus; step daughter, Debra Lynn (Brian) French of Greensburg; step son, Jay Patrick Ritchison of Westport; sisters, Christine Sipes of Seymour and Kathleen Prince of Crothersville; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Randall Sipes.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 26, 2015, at the Westport Cemetery. Randy King will be officiating the graveside service. A time of visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 25, 2015, at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home.
