Clyde and Elizabeth “Libby” Neal of Meridian Street plan to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary at an open house hosted by their children at the end of September.
Mr. Neal and the former Elizabeth Quick were married by the Rev. Joseph Burns on Sept. 2, 1955, at First Christian Church.
Mr. Neal retired from Arvin Industries where he worked 44 years.
Mrs. Neal retired from Columbus Regional Hospital after 49 years of service.

The couple have five children, Beth Neeb, Julie Robertson, Tina Purtlebaugh and Andrea Carlile, all of Columbus, and Bruce Neal of Hope.
They also have 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
