Bartholomew County Sheriff deputies are seeking the public’s help in identifying suspects in a vandalism and theft at the Interstate 65 rest park north of Columbus.
Deputies said a male subject wearing a black jacket caused significant damage to the machines and stole money from them.
The other two suspects served as lookouts, deputies said.
The incident occurred July 23 between midnight and 5:30 a.m., deputies said. The suspects did an estimated $1,000 damage to the machines, but the amount of money that was taken is not being released, deputies said.
The sheriff’s department provided photos from video surveillance cameras which may be viewed on The Republic’s website at therepublic.com.
