1) The summer has flown by, and I haven’t made it to one JCB Neighborfest. This is something I will remedy today during the final Neighborfest concert, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in front of The Commons, 300 Washington St. Tonight’s show features the Carson Diersing Band. As with all Neighborfests, it is free and open to the public. Information: artsincolumbus.org

2) In Columbus, we talk a lot about architecture, but what about archaeology, the study of the material remains of the folks who have come before us? Retired state archaeologist Rick Jones will present thoughts on Archaeology in Indiana during his talk at the Bartholomew County Public Library, 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, 536 Fifth St. Information: 812-379-1266
