Charles “Coleman” Dowden White, 26, of Miami Ridge Road, died at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 2, 2015, as the result of a motorcycle accident in Columbus.

Coleman was a 2008 graduate of Columbus North High School and attended Ivy Tech College. He attended Walker Chapel Church.

He was very family oriented and loved spending time with his family and friends. His greatest joy was his daughter. He enjoyed playing the guitar and music, and when playing the guitar his daughter would sing along with him.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, canoeing, and the outdoors. If anyone ever needed anything he was always there for them.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Roy Hendershot officiating.

Family and friends may call from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. until service time Monday. Burial will follow at Ohio Chapel Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to Caidense Lynn White in care of the funeral home.

Born in Columbus, Indiana, June 19, 1989, Coleman was the son of Randall and Sharon Ann Dowden White.

Survivors include his parents, Randy and Sherry White of Columbus; a daughter, Caidense Lynn White of Columbus; a twin sister, Jami Mae White of Columbus; a sister, Melanie “Dawn” Cruz of Seymour; brothers, Josh Warren of Madison, Mississippi, Cameron Weed of Columbus, and Dustan Alan Phares of Columbus; nieces and nephews, Austin Oren, Stephanie (Gage) Dooley, Samantha Shook, and Torin Kleinhenz; great-niece and nephew, Jase Dooley and Lexie Dooley; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; close friends, TJ Hammer, Randy Fox, Josh Abbott, Ethan Ott and many more.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lloyd and Maxine White and Ruth and Harold Dowden; and uncles, Mike Dowden and Robert Spurling.
