Pirate enthusiasts throughout Columbus are invited to don buccaneer attire Sept. 24 to raise money for the people of Haiti.
The Buccaneers and Barbecue event, which starts at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 24 at Donner Park, will benefit Konbit Lasante pou Limonad, Inc., a group that seeks to improve primary care services in Limonade, Haiti.
The cost is $20 for adults and $10 for children under 12 years old.
The evening will include a pulled pork dinner prepared by the C4 culinary arts program of Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp., live music and a treasure hunt for children.
Buccaneer costumes are not required but are encouraged.
