Jeffery Lynn Jones, 56, of North Vernon, died at 11:17 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2015, at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis.
He is survived by his niece/caregiver, Christy Jones of Greenwood.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Virginia Bragg Jones; brothers, Gene and John Jones, Jr.; and his sisters, Mary Tibbetts and Deborah Eaton.
In keeping with his wishes cremation is planned. Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon were entrusted with the care of these arrangements.
Memorials may be made in honor of Jeffrey through the funeral home to the American Cancer Society.
