Charles Kenneth Long, 46, of Columbus, died at 2:25 p.m., Monday, September 14, 2015, at Indiana University Health Hospital in Indianapolis.
He is survived by his mother, Charlona Long of Columbus; two brothers, Alex (Julie) Long of Columbus and Joel (Marnie) Long, Jr. of Windsor, Colorado; one sister, Lisa (Ed) Balakin of Loomis, California; three nieces, Aislin Long of Windsor California, Izabel and Allie Long both of Columbus; and one nephew, Tazwell Long of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joel Long, Sr.; grandparents, Charles and Hellen Ochs and Kenneth and Margaret Long.
Private graveside services will be conducted in the Vernon Cemetery in Vernon with the Rev. Kendall Wildey officiating. Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon were entrusted with the care of the arrangements.
Memorials may be made through the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services for expenses.
