Mary Huber

Mary Elizabeth Huber, 97, of Seymour, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2015, at Covered Bridge in Seymour.

She was born on October 2, 1917, in Seymour, the daughter of the late Charles H. and Mary E.(Huber) Emley.

On July 14, 1943, in Orlando, Florida, she married Edison Huber, who preceded her in death on June 18, 2001.

Mary was a home maker and a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed crocheting and baking. She was a long time member of the St. Paul United Church of Christ in Seymour and later she was a member of Peace Lutheran Church.

Mary is survived by daughters; Barbara (Carlos) Peters and Susan (Thomas) Egloff; four grandchildren, Angela (Rick) Carter, Steven (Debbie) Peters, Christopher (Meghan) Egloff and Brian (Gina) Egloff; eight great-grandchildren, Nicholas Carter, Adam Carter, Alayna Peters and Kyla Peters, Jase Joyner, Ty Joyner, Nolan Egloff and Edison Egloff.

She is preceded in death by her parents; a brother, John A. Emley; an infant sister, Hettie Mae Emley; and two infant brothers.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., on Friday, September 18, 2015, at Voss Chapel with Rev. Scott Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.

Friends and family may call from 12 noon until time of service on Friday.
