Columbus police report they arrested a local man during a traffic stop.
Dylan E. Pride, 24, 165 Cambridge Square, Columbus, was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and a Bartholomew County warrant, police spokesman Sgt. Matt Harris said.
Officers Robert Mitchell and Tony Kummer stopped Pride at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday at U.S. 31 and Central Avenue and learned Pride had a warrant out for his arrest, Harris said.
When officers searched the car, they found drug paraphernalia and a small amount of methamphetamine. A police dog also searched his car
Pride is being held in the Bartholomew County Jail in lieu of $72,500 bond, jail officials said.
