The Indiana Department of Transportation will close State Road 7 at Brush Creek just northwest of U.S. 31 on Monday for bridge repairs and installation of a deck overlay.
A state highway detour routes motorists around the seven- to 10-day closure via State Road 46 and U.S. 31.
RAM Construction is the state’s contractor for placing a 3/8-inch polymeric overlay on the 185-foot bridge deck atop the 3-span concrete structure over Brush Creek.
An estimated 7,548 vehicles travel over State Road 7 each day, INDOT statistics show.
