FRIENDSHIP WHEELS CHARITY BIKE RIDE, in conjunction with the Cheer Fund, 3 p.m. Oct. 17, Fire Station No. 2, 2376 Arnold St. Donations help purchase and deliver bikes to area children at Christmas. Riders may arrive from  2:30 to 2:45 p.m. and the ride will start promptly at 3 p.m. Please wear a helmet and bring a water bottle.
