‘Healing the Hearts of Our Children’ series at St. Peter’s

No one is a perfect parent or nurturer.

And amid missteps and mistakes, mothers and fathers sometimes need to know there is grace — and hope for healing — with their youngsters and young people.

That’s part of the idea behind “Healing the Hearts of Our Children,” a study group meeting at 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays through Dec. 16 in Room 2251 at St. Peter’s Lutheran School, connected to the church at 719 Fifth St. in Columbus. Noel Taylor is leading the video-based study that reinforces the message that it’s never too late to bring God’s guidance on the scene in the training of children.

It also will focus on repairing spiritual injuries in adult children. The study also helps participants shift focus away from who’s to blame for what has gone wrong and toward how to restore honor and Godly interactions to family relationships.

Each class includes an even balance of video and interaction, according to organizers. Each lesson contains practical wisdom that can be applied right away, according to class materials.

The offering is part of St. Peter’s Wednesday Nite Connections series.
