THE VIEW: WHO TO WATCH

Daniel Hill

North center

The junior will be faced with the monumental challenge of helping keep standout defensive tackles Cameron Tidd and Jovan Swann out of the Bull Dogs’ backfield. If Hill and guards Steven DeDomenic and Logan Abbott can do that, North may have a chance.

Brice McDaniel

North linebacker

The senior will be a key figure in trying to slow down Center Grove’s wing-T offense. The middle linebacker figures to have a busy night making tackles against standout fullback Titus McCoy, who has rushed for 1,225 yards and 16 touchdowns.

Josh Major

East quarterback

The sophomore just keeps getting better every week. He completed 8 of 9 passes for 155 yards and a touchdown and carried 12 times for 109 yards and two scores in last week’s win against Bedford North Lawrence to close the regular season.

Sam Dwenger

East linebacker

The senior will be instrumental in trying to stop Franklin’s triple-option offense. The middle linebacker led the Olympians with 14 tackles, including one for a loss, last week against a triple-option offense ran by Bedford North Lawrence.
