Jason was employed with Shank Painting in Indianapolis.
A celebration of life service will be conducted at 5 p.m. Thursday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Jerry K. Day Sr. officiating.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Janice M. and Tony Wood of Alabama; his father and stepmother, Jerry L. and Nettie Wood of Columbus; his children, McKayla Wood of Columbus, McKenzie Wood of Columbus and Elizabeth Wood of Arizona; sister, Tina Wood of Alabama; and brothers, Scotty (Tracy) Wood of Brown County, Michael Wood of Alabama and Travis Wood of Alabama.
