• Cupcake Boutique for being a great little consignment store as all of our family appreciates the bargains we find there.

• Michael at Sam’s Club for your huge effort to get one of the fuchsia-colored throws from the back and bottom of the display rack for us Saturday afternoon, from the two female shoppers.

• the Ninth Street Neighborhood Watch members for rushing to the aid of a family that suffered a house fire Saturday evening and to Vickie Stainbrook for coming across town to help in any way she could as your cooperation and willingness to help a stranger was much appreciated, from the Ninth Street Neighborhood Watch captain.

• the Rev. Mark Oliver for an awesome service Sunday at Freedom Chapel, from John Tinkey.

• the unknown neighbor who put my newspapers at my front door, from Debby Barnow.

• the couple with two dogs walking on the People Trail for coming over to tell me my car window was down, from Mary Green.

• people who are insightful enough to know the facts don’t lie.

• those who blame local elected officials for the rise in health care costs when the blame can be directly traced to the failure that is Obamacare.

• The Republic for turning into a tabloid rag on the weekends.

• the mother who was playing kickball with her toddler in the road on 25th Street.

• the person who is repeatedly making bad choices without regard for the sanctity of marriage.

• the neighbor who blows their grass clippings and leaves into my yard.

• transparency, pants on fire.

• The Republic for continuing to deliver my newspapers while I was out of town, even though I had called to stop my paper.

• the new administration who should have been paying attention the past four years but now thinks everything should be explained in 31 days.

• the council that does not promote the town to bring in new businesses.

• people who yell when they get mad.

• the people who do not realize that if someone’s religious icon disturbs you, you are permitted to turn your head.

• liberal Democrats who need to understand the meaning of fiscal responsibility i.e. $18 million and growing in debt.

• the leader who was out-coached and satisfied just keeping the score close going into the fourth quarter and not coaching to win.

• the doctor who accused the elderly Christian lady of drinking as she doesn’t drink or smoke.

• the county for not striping Marr Road up to County Road 800 North as it is a dark and dangerous road.

• the local person who put in an Orchid to an out-of-town team for defeating our local team.

• gas prices in Columbus while the lowest Indiana gas is now $1.91.

• misogynistic old men that can’t work with women in positions of leadership.

• the temp service that told me I had a job in a factory, but gave it to someone else the next day.
