Bartholomew County residents, especially parents, are encouraged to attend a film screening at YES Cinema this weekend to learn more about the spread of the human papillomavirus, or HPV.
“Someone You Love: The HPV Epidemic” will be shown at 11 a.m. Saturday at YES Cinema, 328 Jackson St. The film chronicles the lives of five women whose lives are affected by HPV, which can cause diseases and cancer in both men and women.
The film is geared toward parents who are unsure about the HPV vaccine, but older high school students also are encouraged to attend.
The screening is free, but registration is required due to limited seating.
