Wendy Elwood, originator of the Dec. 11 fundraiser The Wizard of Pawz: Fur Ball 2015, drew 130 people when she conducted a similar event last year at her home to benefit the Bartholomew County Humane Society. She and Trudi Smith, coordinating the latest unCommon Cause-style event, would like to see at least 150 people at Factory 12 Event Loft. Tickets are $125 per person and available at the Columbus Area Visitors Center and Viewpoint Books.
Nobody covers Columbus, Indiana and the surrounding areas like The Republic.
