A bridge on State Road 46 at Fishers Fork east of Columbus has reopened.
The Indiana Department of Transportation has completed bridge repairs and installed a new deck overlay on the bridge. Other work included joint replacements, guardrail installation and new pavement on the approaches to the bridge.
INDOT closed the bridge for repairs on Aug. 31.
A second State Road 46 Fishers Fork bridge located several miles east of the one just repaired is scheduled for reconstruction next year.
