Jack Lloyd Jones, 58, of South Hinman Street, died at 1:15 a.m. Sunday, November 22, 2015, at his home.
Jack was born March 28, 1957, in Columbus, the son of William and Mary Cress Jones. He married Linda East Jones February 16, 1985.
Jack previously worked at Rumpke and Kenny Glass before retiring from Rite Way Fasteners. He enjoyed detailing cars at Sparkle Car Wash.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge and loved watching NASCAR, karaoke and playing horse shoes. Jack was devoted to his dog. His favorite pastime was trying to keep his family in line.
The funeral will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2015, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. David Gates officiating. Calling will be from 4 p.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana, the American Diabetes Association and the American Heart Association through the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Linda; son, Christopher (Krista) Schultz of Fairfield, Ohio; daughters, Jessica Winget of Columbus, Veronica (Chris) Mullins of Columbus, Cailey (Jermaine) Jones of Columbus and Cori (Aaron) Thayer of Hope; brothers, Billy (Marsha) Jones of Haines City, Florida, Steve (Linda) Jones of Haines City, Florida, Dennis Jones of Columbus and Leroy (Sandy) Jones of Haines City, Florida; a sister, Sandra (Jerry Little) Jones of Columbus; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and 16 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Candy Jones.
