Jonell Seavers, 73, of Columbus, passed from this life at 1:50 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, 2015, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Mrs. Seavers was a retired Legal Secretary and a member of First Christian Church.
She enjoyed crafting, going to flea markets and wintering in Florida.
A celebration of life service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Calvary Community Fellowship Church of The Nazarene, 5400 Rocky Ford Road, Columbus, Indiana 47201 with David Burnett officiating.
Family and friends may call from 1 p.m. to time of service at the Church.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Tucker’s House; P.O. Box 968, Spring Hill, Tennessee 37174.

Born in Madison, June 27, 1942, Mrs. Seavers was the daughter of Ralph and Mary Alice Canada Monroe.
She married, Carlyle D. Seavers on June 16, 1962.
Surviving is her husband of 53 years; sons, Darron “Rusty” (Dawna) Seavers of Whitehouse, Tennessee, Charlie Seavers and Scott (Sherry) Seavers both of Columbus; grandchildren, Sara, Emily, Kyle, Nicholas and Isabella Seavers; a great-grandson, Connor Seavers; and a special friend, Brenda Sullivan of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.
