Debbie Doyle Litton, 65, of Columbus, died Friday, November 27, 2015, at IU Medical Center in Indianapolis.

She was born in Indianapolis, September 7, 1950, the daughter of Landon and Ilona Litton Hendricks.

Debbie worked for St. Francis Hospital in the Registration and Administration Department and several years ago was a switchboard operator at Columbus Regional Hospital. She attended Columbus Community Church.

She loved to text, especially her grandchildren whom she adored, and watch soap operas.

She is survived by her children, Joe (Maria) Doyle of Crawfordsville, Indiana, Gail (David) Yates of Redkey, Indiana, Julie Doyle of Columbus, Elesa (Jeff) Labanz of Milford, Ohio, and Lori Tungate of Seymour, Indiana; brothers, Jesse Hendricks of Alabama, Victor (Ida) Compton of Ohio, Billy Compton of Florida, Scott (Mary) Compton of Ohio and Lloyd (Denise) Compton of Indianapolis; 22 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service celebrating Debbie’s life will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 5, 2015, at Myers-Reed Chapel on 25th Street with the Rev. Ben Swopes officiating. Calling will be from noon until service time Saturday. Private inurnment will be at a later date.
