Courtney Ann Smallwood, age 39, of Seymour, died on Friday, Dec. 4, 2015, at Schneck Medical Center with family surrounding her bedside.
Courtney is survived by her husband, Eric of Seymour; daughter, Katharyn Elizabeth Smallwood; parents, David and Pam Malone and Cheryl Beineke all of Seymour; grandparents, Lowell Beineke and Richard and Sue Linscott; in-laws, Leona K. and Francis E. Smallwood; siblings, Shawn (Jennifer Oliver) Malone, Chad (Yenny) Malone, Suzann (Dirk) Sorensen and David Malone; and friend, Autumn Boling. Courtney also had several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Courtney was preceded in death by her grandparents, Fred and Rosemary Malone and Pat Beineke.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2015, at Woodlawn Life Celebration Centre. Pastor Steve Barrett will conduct a memorial service at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at a future date at Riverview Cemetery. Memorials may be made at the funeral home to A.S.P.C.A.
